Sirkulære Kaupanes, Sirkulære Husøy, COPPER, Norsk Fjernvarme, Rogaland County Council and NCCE invited to a full-day workshop on energy sharing and industrial symbiosis at Sola.

The background was that Norway is entering a new phase for decentralized energy cooperation. At the same time, current regulations, grid tariffs and market models limit the development and scaling of local energy sharing solutions.

With the industrial pilots at Husøy and Kaupanes as concrete and operational examples, stakeholders from business, government and organizations were invited to develop clear and actionable recommendations for decision-makers and regulators - which can support practical and scalable models for energy sharing throughout the country.

We received many interesting presentations about the team and with working groups towards the end of the day to provide input for further work.
